Dubai Kart invitation , Dubai Autodrome, November 2009
Dubai kart regular Dan Clarkson and team challenged medina sport boss John Loebell to the floodlit karting event in the November evening heat , with only 15minutes of free practice available Dan was an astonishing 2 seconds faster, and 2nd on the timing sheet , with John down in 4th still trying to get to grips with the track layout. In the final session john got his head down and together with some tips from his team manager just edged Dan out by 3 tenths , but both ended a respectable 3rd and 4th quickest time of the day , A BBQ and cold beers were a fine end to a brilliant evening .
