Short and Loebell take the honours at Anglesey winter series

Martin Short Van Diemen RF00 and John Loebell Van Diemen RF92 each took pole win and fastest laps in a rain soaked anglesey double header. Both drivers set the pace during Saturday testing and come Sunday morning Martin just edged John out of pole by 400th of a second in race one, but John took pole in race 2, Martin drove superbly in race one taking class A honours and fastest lap albeit with a bent trackrod, damaged after contact in the latter stages of the race. In race two the weather deteriorated even more with some serious standing water on the fast church corner and run up to rocket, john drove away from pole and although having some pressure on lap one from Barry Linley ,john put in some early consistent laps and together with fastest lap took a convincing win, it was a great end to the 2009 season .
